Twitter/X has emerged as a go-to platform for exchanging information, but there’s a downside to it as well. Paris’ mayor, Anne Hidalgo, expressed her disgust over the platform, calling it a “gigantic global sewer.” She has cited many reasons for her comments, accusing the platform of manipulation, disinformation, antisemitism and attacks on scientists, climatologists, women and liberals. NFL GOAT Tom Brady has his opinions to share about the incident as well.

Tom Brady suggests developing immunity to social media criticism
Regarding Paris’ Mayor Anne Hidalgo leaving Twitter, Tom Brady states his opinion about uninformed opinions on social media in a recent episode on the Let’s Go podcast. He states that social media can be very misleading because the truth can be covered with factual errors. He states, “It’s way easier to burn things down than to build things up.”
While negative comments can drag a person down, Tom Brady said, “I think we’re just going to have to get immune to it to a degree.” And he is right when he said that everybody’s got their own voice and we just need to decide what matters and what doesn’t. He recently faced criticism when he said the following on The Stephen A. Smith Show, “I think there’s a lot of mediocrity in today’s NFL. I don’t see the excellence that I saw in the past.” To this, Alex Smith retorted, “He played in the most uncompetitive division, I think, in NFL history.“
