The 2024 WNBA draft turned out to be a success for the Las Vegas Aces, as they managed to secure not one but four new players from the NCAA— Syracuse guard Dyaisha Fair with the No. 16 pick, followed by renowned Iowa guard Kate Martin at No. 18 and Virginia Tech center Elizabeth Kitley at No. 24 in the second round. The Aces further concluded their selections by choosing Jackson State forward Angel Jackson at No. 36 in the third round.

Amidst all the excitement, NFL legend Tom Brady, who holds a minority stake in the Aces, expressed his enthusiasm for the team’s new additions. Taking to his Instagram story, he warmly welcomed the incoming players with a simple yet heartfelt four-word message: “Welcome to the family.”
