The recent WWE WrestleMania 40 was quite star-studded and nostalgic with the presence of The Undertaker, The Rock, and John Cena. The main two-night event in Philadelphia saw Cody Rhodes fighting for the WWE Universal Championship in a thrilling battle against Roman Reigns. However, it wasn’t just for wrestling fans this time.

The event was packed with famous NFL faces like George Kittle, Jason Kelce, and Lane Johnson were there. Also, Hollywood brought some glam with stars like Drew Barrymore and Vanessa Hudgens. Even with all the hype, a former Pro Bowl quarterback felt something was missing. He wasn’t alone – many fans wished they could see this GOAT back in the ring.

WWE promised WrestleMania 40 would be their biggest event ever, and they delivered. They had everything – music, dance performances, and even surprise appearances from NFL stars. Yet, former Baltimore quarterback Robert Griffin III missed one key element – ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. He also posted on X that, “All WrestleMania 40 needed was a Stone Cold appearance to send it TO THE MOON!” Even many fans agree with RG3.

It seems like WWE talked to Stone Cold about making a surprise appearance at WrestleMania. While it’s unclear what he would have done, rumors said he might help Cody Rhodes. But the “Texas Rattlesnake” never said he was in, leaving fans disappointed. Even without him, the event still had a great match with The Undertaker.
