One of the biggest speculations for the 2024 NFL Draft seems to be transmitting the final touches about 20 days before the big draft day. Caleb Williams has been constantly in the news as the potential No. 1 player to be picked by the Chicago Bears. The odds became more reasonable when the Bears traded Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers. But a more recent unraveling point is that Williams’ Chicago rumors may be confirmed after all.

The Chicago Bears are reportedly set to include Caleb Williams as one of their own with personalized touches in the facility. But the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner’s recent actions gave fans more things to talk about. See what his last visit to Chicago is all about.

While there are divided opinions on Caleb Williams’ potential landing with the Bears, the most recent unfolding may have sealed the deal. In a recent X post, it was revealed that the 2024 potential No. 1 overall pick is in Chicago and he’s not just meeting with the Bears front office; he even met with “some current players.” The post also mentioned that this visit “is likely his only top-30 visit with any team.” In addition to Williams, another highly-touted player, Rome Odunze, is also reportedly visiting the Bears tomorrow for his top 30 interviews.

In the most practical scenario, it looks like Caleb Williams has made up his mind to join the Bears and turn their destiny around. While the players aren’t mentioned by name, dining together with them can only mean that they’re already trying to get acquainted before the draft kicks off and unite on April 25. Also, Chicago possibly being the only team he’s visited, the result already seems like it’s etched into stone.

Caleb Williams is very welcome in Chicago

Though there are no confirmations on either side, it looks like both parties have a mutual interest in working together. Late last month, a report by The Chicago Tribune revealed that supposedly Caleb Williams will soon have his own personal key card and locker stall. This is to improve the bond and relationship with the Bears players and coaching staff.

Bears GM Ryan Poles has nothing but admiration for the 22-year-old QB. He said of him, “When you talk to his teammates, they don’t like him, they love him. It’s his leadership, how he brings people together… Same goes with the staff. I’m having a hard time finding a person who doesn’t like him or even love him and (doesn’t) think he can reach the highest limits. The feedback has been good.” While it may seem like the result has cemented itself, everything will be confirmed in the first few minutes of the draft session on April 25.
