Tom Brady has inspired countless young sportspersons to be the best version of themselves on the field. One of them is Deion Sander’s son Shedeur Sanders. The Colorado Buffaloes QB has put Brady on the pedestal, crediting the legendary QB of helping in his game. The upcoming star of the football world, from whom the fans have great expectations, is a big fan of the famed Brady mentality.

Shedeur is currently training under the watchful eyes of his father, who is also his coach at Colorado. Coach Prime and the Buffaloes fandom has a lot of big expectations when he takes the field for his new college team. So how does he channel his inner Brady?

Shedeur Sanders recently appeared on a podcast and talked about every aspect of his life. When the question of taking in the best part of other QBs came about, the Buffaloes QB immediately pointed out to Tom Brady and his mentality.

“Well, I say for sure just like the determination of Tom Brady…. Yeah, the Brady mentality yeah,” Shedeur said on the ‘I Am Athlete’ podcast.

Shedeur then credited the seven-time Super Bowl champion for giving him the confidence to move about and escape the pocket. According to him, it all comes naturally.

“For sure…. I’m able to escape, to move around, to run when I need to. And like that, everything just comes like real natural to me,” Shedeur added.

Brady’s illustrious 23-year career saw him dominate the NFL, winning everything there is to win with both the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even though he retired at the end of the 2022 season, his legacy in the game remains everlasting. Shedeur, at a young age, is now shouldering the weight of similar expectations, as he aspires to follow in the footsteps of the legendary quarterback.

The Shedeur Sanders hype

Shedeur Sanders made a mark on the college football world under his father NFL legend Deion Sander at Jackson State. In the small time he has had, the hype around the QB has only increased. The hype followed when he switched to Colorado State when Coach Prime went there in December last year.

Although he is just a college athlete, he already has some mouthwatering deals with brands like Under Armour, Gatorade, Beats by Dre and the Brady Brand.
