Coach Prime’s magic continues to thrive for the team as they keep raking in more and more numbers, making the organization richer than ever. In turn, Deion Sanders will be owed a large chunk of that money as well since it’s his influence that attracted the fans in the first place, so much so, that the season tickets for the 2024 season have already been sold out.

Deion Sanders, the head coach for the Colorado Buffaloes, has helped the team garner heaps of money with just his influence and fan following. While the number for the ticket sales for this season hasn’t been made official, reports suggest that the number stands close to the figure of around $20 million, a lot of which will be given to Coach Prime by the Athletic Director of CU since this wouldn’t have been made possible without his charm and personality.

The Colorado Buffaloes are set to play their first game against the Nebraska Huskers, their arch-rivals, on 7th September, on Primetime NBC. Additionally, they are set to have an explosive start to the season since they have accomplished this milestone for the second-straight year and the 10th time in overall CU history.

The Athletic Director of CU, Rick George praised Coach Prime and talked about his faith in him when he said, “Selling out of season tickets for the second year in a row shows how strong our fan base is and the continued impact of and trust in Coach Prime. We are ready for an exciting 2024 season and expect a full house for every game for the second straight season.

Moreover, the reports from CU Athletics revealed that before last season, it had been 27 years since the program saw a sold-out season, witnessing it last in 1972. With all that said, Coach Prime helped elevate Rick George’s career by a landslide when he was awarded the athletic director of the year in March 2024.

Even though Colorado finished at the bottom of the table last season with a 4-8 run, Deion and the program were largely praised for their major turnaround from their 2022 record of 1-11. Moreover, George’s decision to choose Deion as the HC ended up becoming a lottery win for him as his influence drew in an astounding rise in ticket sales, national TV appearances, and a major fan following that continues to ardently keep up with the team and the coach.

As such, it only made sense that George would be awarded the athletic director of the year title by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA). Now that CU has sold out their tickets and is also set to take on the mighty Huskers on Primetime NBC, something which hasn’t happened in 29 years, it is evident that Deion has brought fantastic luck to the organization. And that George will be thanking his lucky stars for a long time to come.
