The Sanders family will be having a rough few days ahead of their injuries. Deion Sanders and his sons, Shedeur and Shilo, will have to face the music as their loss to the UCLA Bruins has left the fans fuming. The 56-year-old had a lot riding on the match as the Buffs’ looked to make a comeback. But with a series of unfortunate events, the Bruins ended up being the victors.

Shedeur Sanders, the QB for the Colorado Buffaloes, had one of the harshest games he’s ever had. The Buffs’ defense failed to protect him as he tried to throw out the passes. The match ended with a devastating upset for the Colorado team as the score stood still at 28-16. While the sons had a rough day on the field, Shelomi Sanders didn’t stand far away as she’s also currently recovering from an injury.

On 29th October 2023, Pilar Sanders, the ex-wife of Deion Sanders, took to Instagram and posted a reel. Pilar and Shelomi could both be seen walking outside in the snow. While Pilar seemed to be enjoying the weather, it didn’t seem like Shelomi wanted to be a part of the video.

She was heard saying, “My little baby broke her finger.” Shelomi Sanders got injured in one of the previous matches with the Colorado Buffaloes. The 19-year-old plays the guard position on the team and has been a vital part of the squad. Hopefully, she’ll be able to recover before the team takes on the LSU Tigers on the 7th of November in their season opener. But while Shelomi tries to shake the injury off, it’ll take a lot of time for the male members of the Sanders family to get over last night’s match.

Shedeur Sanders’ injury and the state of the Buffs

The match against the UCLA Bruins ended up being a disaster for the team. Shilo Sanders was ejected during the game for allegedly “targeting” Carsen Ryan, the running back for the Bruins. The call by the referees was heavily criticized by both the fans and Coach Prime himself. As if this controversy wasn’t enough, Shedeur Sanders had to endure most of the pain as the quarterback.

Shedeur Sanders took around 17 hits as he tried to throw out the passes. Deion Sanders was asked about the health of Shedeur and he replied by saying, “He’s hurting everywhere. Trust me.” Despite the upsetting loss, Coach Prime is staying optimistic. He believes that they have a good shot at the championship and they’re not out of the race just yet. Coach Prime asks his fans to be hopeful, but is that confidence or just wishful thinking? Only time will tell.
