Shelomi has been receiving strong support from her mother, Pilar Sanders, during the basketball season. Pilar actively attends Shelomi’s games, showcasing their close bond. Known for her supportive role, she also cheers for her daughter at CU Buffs football games. In a recent Instagram story, Pilar shared a humorous moment with Shelomi, expressing a mix of discomfort and amusement at the same time.

Pilar Sanders shared exciting behind-the-scenes footage from the stands, as daughter Shelomi put up an outstanding performance that proved pivotal in Colorado’s win. In an adorable snippet shared by Pilar, her young athlete daughter can be witnessed sharing a cute moment with her mother.

Shelomi can be seen playing with her mother’s face and necklace, while playfully attempting to gnaw at her cheek, which prompts Pilar to join in with the banter, calling Shelomi, “you filthy animal.” She added two captions along with the video, one describing Shelomi’s wandering hands, “her hands just don’t stop.” The other one said, “my pretty lil baby is my special lil baby.”

In the video, the daughter can be noticed calling her mum “my baby” constantly, bringing a subtle smile to her mother’s face. This was just after the astounding efforts displayed by the basketball player on the court.

In Pac-12 women’s basketball, UCLA handed USC its first loss of the season, while No. 8 Colorado secured a victory against No. 10 Utah. These early clashes among the Pac-12’s top teams, featuring five squads currently in the top 10, offer intense and challenging competition. Colorado women’s basketball team defeats No. 10 Utah

In a thrilling matchup, Colorado staged an outrageous comeback in the final quarter against Utah, securing a 76-65 triumph after trailing 54-51. Jaylyn Sherrod was the standout performer for Colorado, stealing scores and hearts with an impressive 34 points, outshining Utah’s Alissa Pili, who finished with 27.

Colorado’s victory was fueled by their hustle plays, recording six fewer turnovers (14 to 20), eight more free throw attempts (18 to 10), 10 more steals (16 to 6), and four additional offensive rebounds (9 to 5). These advantages in possessions and free throws proved decisive in clinching the win.

Shelomi Sanders, a freshman who stands at 5’ 6″ 1, played guard for the Colorado Buffaloes women’s basketball team. Colorado is set to take on Arizona on the 6th of January 2024, which is sure to be an arresting match to look out for, with eyes set on Deion Sanders’ young star.
