Jordan Travis, the quarterback for the Florida State Seminoles, released an emotional video following the team’s upsetting situation. The Florida team failed to make it within the top 4 spots in the Collegiate Football Playoffs and is currently suffering from the aftermath of the disappointment.

But Travis’s performance has outshone the team. Unfortunately, he suffered a devastating injury against the North Alabama team, and thus, his final season with Florida came to an end. And yet, with his recent video, the fans have come to express their ardent support for the 23-year-old, who has helped the team win the ACC championship.

On December 8, Travis took to Instagram to post a video that saw him walking off the field with the rest of the FSU squad. Travis’s injury against the Alabama team was extremely severe and is being called a ‘career-threatening’ injury.

He captioned the video with a heart, showing his love for the team despite them not making it into the playoffs. This was very well the last of Travis that the fans saw, and hence, they stormed the comments section with well wishes and blessings. A fan rightfully said,”On the Mount Rushmore of FSU Football without question.”

Another user wrote, “I know I’ll remember what was done on the field but it was how you handled the chaos off the field that impressed me.”

This fan sadly said,”This team & you deserved so much better. I’m so sorry y’all never got the chance to prove it once more. Thank you for helping rebuild FSU from the ashes. We’re forever grateful & you will always be my favorite QB!”

Another user expressed his deep sadness when he wrote,”That career is solidified at Florida State you are a Seminole LEGEND 🍢🍢🍢”

Lastly, this fan summarized the feelings of the entire community of FSU when he said,”You’ve been instrumental in setting a standard at FSU that will live on beyond your tenure. You played with heart and did it with class. Be very proud of the legacy that you have left behind. Thank you from a parent and a booster.”

Though Travis’ college career might have come to an end, here’s a look at his performance this season and his chances for the Heisman Trophy.

Undoubtedly, Travis’s performance has been a driving force behind the FSU team’s undefeated season this year. But after his severe injury, he was forced to sit out the ACC championship match and watch from the sidelines.

And yet, his stats for this season have been beyond impressive. Travis completed over 2,756 passing yards and finished with a total of 20 touchdowns. With these sorts of stats, he had a sure shot at being a good candidate for the Heisman Trophy but couldn’t make the final list. But now that the season has come to an end for the FSU team, the fans can’t help but wonder if he’ll be back after such a devastating injury.
