Everything seemed like a fairytale when the former NFL power couple got married in 2009. But, after thirteen years, their marriage could not last. Therefore, Tampa Tom and Gisele Bündchen went their separate ways. The couple went through many difficulties and also supported each other. The biggest sacrifice the former model could make was also the one she worked her entire life for.

In her New York Times best-selling memoir, ‘Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life,’ Gisele revealed the most important thing that she had to give up to support her marriage. She wrote, “Tom and I wanted to make our marriage work. So what I’d worked so hard to achieve, the thing I’d done since the age of fourteen, had to take a backseat. It wasn’t a completely smooth transition.”

Since then, the supermodel achieved unimaginable success and became one of the most popular personalities in the world. Therefore, it was difficult for her to leave her legacy behind and mold herself into the role of a new mother.

While TB12 played his away games and remained busy throughout the NFL season, Gisele took care of her family. Even after their divorce, the 42-year-old decided to stay close to her children.
