The Dallas Cowboys were in action on Sunday night. Even though they picked the W in their outing, owner and general manager, Jerry Jones wasn’t too happy with his team’s performance. The Cowboys pulled off a very close victory against arguably the worst team in the league this season. They beat the Houston Texans 27-23 as the Texans move to a record of 1-11-1.

Jerry Jones might hope his plans with Odell Beckham Jr. would have gone through. However, an issue with his return from injury has made the Cowboys’ owner opt out from signing the much favored free agent. With the poor result over the weekend and not being able to continue his love story with OBJ, Jerry Jones roped in another popular wide receiver.

Jerry Jones has a new favorite WR
With a performance as poor as Sunday’s, the Cowboys have a lot of work to do if they want to be a team for serious contention in the postseason. As they miss out on superstar Odell Beckham Jr. this season, Jerry Jones has ensured that the WR spot on the team roster still has a big name.
