NFL brings forth a set of matchups that are hard to miss; from rekindled rivalries to the best players going head-to-head against each other. The fans are now awaiting another delectable clash! It’s the battle of quarterbacks, one a legend and the other a legend in the making.

While Aaron Rodgers leads by a fine margin with his stats and numbers, Josh Allen also holds an impressive record. He’s been outstanding in the last couple of seasons and will be looking to make his hard work count during the September 11 clash. In the star-studded encounter, fans would be anticipating an action-packed match. So who will the day favor- the seasoned campaigner Josh Allen or the NFL legend Aaron Rodgers?

Buffalo Bills and New York Jets have a rivalry that’s been going on for ages. Buffalo Bills are in the lead with 68 wins in comparison to the Jets and their 57 wins. Now, the rivalry has boiled down to the QBs as well. The New York Jets have a legendary QB on their side – Aaron Rodgers. The SB champion and MVP is playing his first season with the side. As the much-talked-about matchup gets intense, Rodgers will be looking to make touchdowns and cover yards for the new side.

On the opposing side, Josh Allen has an impressive record as well. While Allen considers Rodgers his friend and role model, the duo will put all this aside as they step onto the field for their clash. Considering how Allen idolizes A-Rod, playing against him would be a great opportunity for the former to leave a lasting impression.

Stats-wise, Rodgers sits heads and shoulders above Allen. However, the Bills’ QB does have a better interception percentage of 2.3%. Rodgers falls behind at 1.4%. Both players score similarly when it comes to yards/completion. The 10-time All-Pro winner has an 11.8 against the 2X Pro-Bowl winner’s 11.5. Before the match, Allen also decided to fire some shots at the senior statesman.

Josh Allen added an element of spice to the beef between the Bills and Jets. Ahead of the highly-anticipated match, Allen took shots at the senior QB. Speaking on the Rich Eisen Show, the Wyoming collegiate called A-Rod an “old guy”. It was all part of a good-humored banter.

He further explained that he Facetimes the legend and has been a fan since he was a kid. Now as the match inches closer, the 17 jersey number also highlights how he has tried to emulate Rodgers on the field. Allen said, “I think he’s the most gifted thrower of the football of all time. To now be going against him twice a year, it’s going to be a battle.”

With the Bills going against the Jets for the second time this year, the match will be a terrific exhibition for the fans. Allen looks pumped to take on Rodgers and show his dominance. However, going by A-Rod’s experience and longevity, he’ll be the one looking to give the answers on the field. So who will be the happier lot at the end of the match- Allen or Rodgers?
