“I Failed Black People-” Buffalo Bills Wide Receiver Releases an Emotional Statement Against Racism

Buffalo Bills’ wide receiver Cole Beasley recently released a statement regarding his opposition towards racism and police brutality. Bills’ WR finally spoke up after watching his teammates and officials talk in support of the ongoing protests.

Buffalo Bills WR Cole Beasley apologizes for not speaking till now

In his statement, he apologized for not speaking up till now. Bills’ wide receiver stated that he has been looking the other way for quite some time. Cole Beasley added that he is embarrassed about not speaking up sooner.

Cole stated that one of the steps towards a path for recovery would be listening to everyone’s problems. Beasley added that he never had to go through the hardships that black people endure on a daily basis.

Cole admits that he has remained ignorant for too long a time, something that he is ashamed of. He addressed the African American community and said that he failed them. He did the same to his sons and daughter for turning the other way and being ignorant.

Cole Beasley showed his full support for the ongoing protests ‘Black Lives Matter.’ He stated that it is crucial to sit and scroll through everything that is happening before everyone. Bills’ WR indicated that it is vital for everyone to listen.

Cole Beasley also wrote about donating all the profits received from the downloads and streams of his song, United Hates of America 2020, to 9inety-10. A non-profit organization helping underprivileged children with sports.
