What seemed a completely made-up story is now confirmed by Christian McCaffrey himself to be true. A week back, it was revealed on the ‘Rich Eisen Show’ that Christian was made a part of a staggering $10000 bet. While he went on to meet his hero, his hero had other plans. The San Francisco 49ers running back was very shocked after he was challenged to a not-so-silly wager.

Someone wouldn’t typically imagine a comedian who is built like a potato to challenge one of the fastest running backs in the league. But it did happen in a small room, with ten grand on the line. So who is the guy that challenged Christian?

The 6 feet tall comedian, Bert Kreischer, had had at least 10 beers that day before challenging Christian. The running back had gone to watch Kreischer’s show and was very happy to hang out with him after. They were in a 20 by 30 feet room and the stand-up comedian asked for a reasonable dare. He asked Christian for 3 hours to be able to tackle him for that large sum of money. Christian confirmed the whole story after appearing on the Eisen Show.

Bert Kreischer is known for his comedic talents and larger-than-life personality. He recently released a movie called ‘The Machine’ and was on the Eisen Show to promote it. That’s when he revealed how he challenged Christian to the so-called bet. It was very unusual to hear such a thing, but it was 100% true.

The 49ers RB revealed all the left-out details on the day he met Kreischer in the interview. He added that Kreischer was shirtless and in full sweat when he was challenged. Christian also revealed that he considered taking the bet for a moment, as the stand-up comedian is very out of shape and would go out of breath running only ten steps. He then jokingly added that Kreischer had a serious look in his eye and he thought about tightening his shoelaces, hinting the challenge could have gone down.

Who would win if the bet actually went down?

The obvious answer to this question would be Christian McCaffrey, as Kreischer is very unfit, and Christian is an NFL athlete. But to be fair, it is very hard to determine who could have come out as a winner from that bet if it actually went down. Kreischer did ask for a reasonable time and also, he did his own stunts in his movie. Who knows what could have happened in 3 hours?

Christian also added that he found the whole thing to be very humorous. He further added that he had a great time hanging out with Kreischer.
