Antonio Brown is reportedly nearing an NFL return in the coming weeks. The former Pittsburgh Steelers star last featured in the league with New England Patriots in 2019. However, his off-field issues have left him without a team since last September.

However, as per rumors, Brown is all set to make his NFL return after tackling his various legal issues.  He was pictured training with Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson earlier this month. In addition to that, the highly-talented WR is often seen training with a High School QB named Peter Zamora in Florida. Will AB be cleared to play in the NFL this season?

Antonio Brown’s legal case was closed earlier this year. He pleaded guilty for an alleged battery incident. He was then charged with a two-year probation and 100 hours of community service. Here’s what ESPN correspondent Jeremy Fowler said on the issue.

“His case, I’m told, is still under review with the NFL. Of course, he’s got his issues dating back to September with assault and rape allegations as well. But this should expedite it because now most of his legal issues are resolved, at least on paper. And so, the league has been slowed by the pandemic.”

“They haven’t been really expediting a lot of their investigations, but they should ramp up very soon because this is a player who’s been working out in South Florida, believes he’ll get a chance to play again and everybody involved is bracing for a suspension,” Fowler said Saturday morning on ESPN’s SportsCenter as transcribed by 247 Sports.

Despite these issues, the Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens are rumored to be interested in his services for the NFL 2020 season.
