In an exclusive revelation of personal documents, Tom Brady’s ironclad prenup was made public. After 13 years of marriage, the American super couple, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen, announced their divorce last week. The Brazilian supermodel and now ex-husband Brady had been living separately for a while amid conversations of Brady prioritizing football over family.

Fortunately for the couple, they had signed a prenup before exchanging their vows. A source close to the duo revealed how the splitting of wealth was a smooth transaction. This was possible as both of them are well-established separate business entities. The only cause of concern was dividing their big property portfolio.

Tom Brady and his love for property

The Brady’s, in 2020, purchased a lavish mansion in Miami at The Indian Creek Island, now known as ‘Billionaire’s Bunker’. This 2-acre plot cost the couple $17 million. Additionally, they splurged $10 million on customizing it to their taste. This almost $30 million costing asset is not the only property to their name. Like most celebrities, they too own a New York City apartment. There’s also a home in the Bahamas and a similar setup in the very exclusive Yellowstone Club in Montana. With a love for island life, the couple also has a home in Costa Rica where they are often seen on vacation. That is a lot of property between a family of four.

Moreover, that’s a lot of questions raised in the circumstances of a divorce, which the family is currently going through. The Supermodel had also acquired a $1.25 million property in the Miami beach area along with another larger property in the vicinity. Reports say she is to move into this property post-divorce. Bündchen will also enjoy the rights to their Costa Rica home as well.

It is reported that the 7-time Super Bowl champion will have their new mansion, currently under construction, to himself. Unlike most divorces where the man has to give away chunks of his wealth to his former partner, this divorce hasn’t affected Brady’s wealth as much. This comes from both having their individual identities as earning members of the family.

With individual net worths crossing $300 million each, former lovers are set for a comfortable life even post their separation. Agreeing to sign a prenup 13 years ago is definitely reaping its benefits for the duo right now.
