And since the Chiefs’ defense has been struggling for quite a while, it is surely going to be a challenge for them to contain this running back. Well, that running back happens to be Derrick Henry. Yes, Mahomes has great respect for the 27-year old and he believes that the key to win against them is to stop him from scoring.

“I think he presents a challenge for everybody,” Mahomes said. “I mean, he’s one of the best running backs, to me, of all time, the way he’s able to run the football to get 20, 30, whatever, 40 carries it is and then he comes back the next week and he’s just as fresh as the week before.”

He further adds, “He’s a special talent who works his tail off to be who he is, and so we understand it’s gonna be a great challenge for any defense to stop him, but we’re gonna try to do the best we can to limit him as much as possible.”

And that being great news for the team, the Chiefs have to turn that fixture into a win at all costs. Patrick Mahomes, though, hasn’t been very Mahomes-like in his past few games, but he certainly has the potential to turn the tables in the favor of his team. Let’s see if he claims a win against the Titans.
