Dalton, a seasoned veteran, is a more than reliable option when called upon. Meanwhile, Justin Fields is undoubtedly the man the franchise hopes is the QB to lead them to their second-ever Super Bowl.

With both QBs now locked in for that one starting spot, Chicago Bears Head Coach Matt Nagy talked about the prevailing mood in the QB room.

Nagy went on to further compliment his veteran QB for the role he has taken in helping Justin Fields.

“Andy Dalton has been unbelievable to Justin Fields in that quarterback room. I think if anybody could be a fly on the wall, see how that quarterback room works, how it was in the OTAs is rare.
