George Kittle has gone from being a fifth-round pick to an established first-team starter for the San Francisco 49ers. Kittle’s stock has been on the rise since 2018. Kittle recently penned a five-year contract extension worth $75 million. In doing so, Kittle is now the highest-paid tight end in NFL history overtaking Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce. Kittle is a leader in the 49ers dressing room. Along with Jimmy G, Richard Sherman, and Kittle, the 49ers have a strong leadership core.
