After months of speculation, Odell Beckham Jr is no longer a free agent. The explosive wide receiver has chosen the franchise that will bring him back into the NFL after more than a year on the sidelines. Even Lamar Jackson could not help but salute the free agent’s $18 million decision. Aaron Rodgers, on the other hand, will be heartbroken after missing out on a reliable offensive outlet.

OBJ hasn’t played in the NFL since winning the Super Bowl more than a year ago. But now, the wait is over and fans finally know which colors he will don when the football season kicks off in a few months.

Lamar Jackson dials up Odell Beckham Jr

Odell Beckham Jr has finally found a franchise to play for. The Super Bowl champion WR is going to the Baltimore Ravens. OBJ has signed a one-year deal worth up to $18 million with the Ravens, thus ending the long wait of the fans to see him back on the field after missing out on the entire 2022 season.

The deal has also drawn attention from the estranged Ravens QB Lamar Jackson. He might be wanting out of the franchise, but he dialed OBJ to salute him for his move. Jackson posted a photo of their call on Instagram. It would be interesting to know what exactly the conversation was between the two of them.

They have made a few moves to strengthen their team in all departments to give incoming QB Aaron Rodgers a great chance of taking them to the promised land. But now, they will have to look beyond OBJ for an offensive outlet.

The Jets haven’t made it to the postseason since the 2010 season under head coach Rex Ryan. They want to change that and are leaving no stone unturned to make that possible.
