The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his long-time love Brittany Matthews are expecting a second child. The 26-year-old shared the news through his social media handles with an adorable picture of him alongside his sweet family and his 15-month-old daughter Sterling Skye holding a board that reads “Big sister duties coming soon,”. Patrick and Brittany officially became husbands and wives just two months ago. They officiated their marriage in a lavish wedding ceremony after getting engaged in September 2020.

Their love story dates back to the time when both of them were graduating from high school. In 2013, Nine years ago, Matthews moved to the University of Texas and started playing soccer for the college team. However, Mahomes next year went to Texas tech university, which is situated 400 miles from his fiance’s college.

Soon Mahomes unlocked his fortune after getting a call from Kansas City in 2017. The AFC west team picked the youngster as the 10th overall pick. After Matthew’s brief stint on a professional soccer team in Iceland, the duo shifted to Kansas City and began their live-in relationship in 2020.

The following year, Mahomes and Matthews welcomed their baby girl ‘Sterling Skye’ venturing into a new chapter of their lives. In February, earlier this year, the couple celebrated Skye’s first birthday by sharing some adorable pics for the fans to enjoy.
