Tom Brady makes a rare rush
Everybody enjoyed the popular rivalry between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning between 2001 to 2015. Fans consider them to be the finest quarterbacks in the league. Hence, the fight between them was always intense. Many compared their rivalry to other legendary sports rivalries, like Ronaldo-Messi in soccer and many more. In one such rivalry-filled event, Tom Brady mocked ‘The Sherriff’ for his advancing age.

After the Deflategate scandal in 2015, some emails from the former Patriots QB were filed as part of the documents. In one of the emails, Brady sent an email to a friend. They talked and referenced Manning’s age. The Super Bowl-winning champ wrote, “I’ve got another 7 or 8 years. He has 2. That’s the final chapter… Game on.”
At the time, Peyton Manning turned 39 years old. With diverse awards and accolades to show for himself, the Denver Broncos shot caller had nothing to take offense to. When asked about his opinions on the quip.
He answered in a poised and gracious manner, “Everybody has been speculating on that for a long time, so I guess he’s joining the list of trying to predict. Hey, Tom sent me an apology text that was unnecessary. The fact his emails got revealed, that doesn’t make a lot of sense to me…”
The sweet and sour rivalry of Tom Brady and Manning
Even though Peyton Manning is only one year older than Tom Brady, he retired in 2016. While was still throwing touchdowns, one of the NFL GOATs closed the book on this chapter. Although they played bitterly against each other on the field, they proved to be individuals who respected each other.

When Pro Football inducted Manning into the Hall of Fame for his victorious career, Tampa Tom presented himself to watch his Arch-Nemesis hang his cleats. TB12 playfully joked on Twitter. “I just need to make sure he’s really done. Can’t risk this guy coming back…”
