The NFL has finally announced 2021’s Pro Bowl roster on Wednesday. But a certain Seattle Seahawks player is not happy with the list. Russell Wilson thinks that there has been a mistake. The quarterback believes that the Pro Bowl is missing out big time on the defensive side for the first team. They could use a couple of Seahawks in there. According to Wilson, the cornerback Quandre Diggs and the linebacker Bobby Wagner deserved a spot for sure.

Quandre Diggs and Bobby Wagner’s 2021 NFL season

The teammates of Wilson, Diggs, and Wanger had a pretty good NFL season. Bobby Wanger has been selected for the Pro Bowl second-team, but Quandre Diggs is completely missing out. Diggs dislocated his ankle in the Week 18 game against the Arizona Cardinals. The Seahawks won the game 38-30. But Diggs is expected to remain on the sidelines for at least four to five months. Before getting injured, Diggs was arguably one of the MVPs for Seattle this season. He made a team-high five interceptions. The team selected him for a second straight Pro Bowl. But he did not make the cut.

Bobby Wagner, on the other hand, has been impressive as well. The veteran entered his 10th NFL season in 2021. After being named for the Pro Bowl second team, Wanger proved that he still has it. He is arguably one of the best linebackers in Seahawks history. Wagner has been selected in the Pro Bowl for eight consecutive seasons from 2014 to 2021. He entered the second team in 2016 and 2021. The rest of them are all first-team selections.
