Romantic stories, in today’s day and age, sell like hotcakes. Here we have Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson sharing details of his first date with Ciara.

They met at a live performance set where Ciara was about to perform. Russell admitted that observing her rehearsals was one of his favorite things to do.

After the show was over, Wilson picked her up later in the evening, and they went out. They had to drive around to find a place to eat. They looked around five places because they were trying to find a spot that was a bit private.

They found the Georgian Hotel to be the perfect spot. Before walking into the Hotel Russell made sure that the lighting and everything was just perfect. They later had the lights dimmed a bit so as to ensure a private and subtle ambiance.

They had nothing fancy. Russell had a massive cheeseburger and a pitcher of water, which appeared crazy to Ciara because she was on her gallon kick at that moment.

Wilson and Ciara were just trying to make the most of their time by doing small things that might have been funny but were really special.
