While the choices remain few and far for the QB position, Willis could be attractive for these QB-hungry teams. He is set for visits in the upcoming week with the Falcons and Panthers.

The interest in the Liberty QB is immense as team visits are scheduled in the upcoming week to recruit him. However, teams need to be wary about his immediate impact because he has areas of his game he needs to improve. But his Pro Day performances have only generated further interest as teams line up to get his services.

Is Malik Willis the answer for the Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans Saints, and others?

Malik Willis is a dual-threat QB who possesses the ability to hurt defenses with his high-powered arm or with his legs in games. The seemingly effortless ability to throw the ball while being inside or outside the pocket is an asset for any NFL franchise. While playing in 13 games for the Flames last season, Wills did end up recording 2,857 yards, 27 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. A decent return for a QB who while not having faced the stiffest competition has the makings of a great NFL QB.

Though Willis might be better off learning in the shadow of a veteran NFL QB, he has the most “upside” in terms of QBs in his class. The Steelers, Saints, and Titans can be the ideal landing spots for the young QB.
