Bruce Arians Reveals What Tom Brady Told His Teammates Before Super Bowl LV Showdown

It was Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the defending champions Kansas City Chiefs and the world last weekend. The 43-year-old veteran was eager to win his 7th Super Bowl ring in his debut season in the NFC.

That’s exactly what happened as Brady, TE Rob Gronkowski, and WR Antonio Brown along with a spirited Bucs defense sealed a comfortable 9-31 win against the Chiefs at the Raymond James Stadium on February 7th, 2020.

Coincidentally, all three players played for the Bill Belichick-led New England Patriots at some point in their respective careers.

Apart from Brady, Gronkowski and AB signed 1-year deals with the Buccaneers in 2020. They are expected to return next season.

Obviously, Tampa Bay Buccaneers boss Bruce Arians was over the moon as he won his first Championship ring as a Head Coach.

But Arians has now revealed that he was never really second-guessing his team with respect to their Super Bowl ambitions. Especially not after hearing Brady’s speech prior to the Super Bowl.

Arians spilled the beans on the latest segment of The Rich Eisen Show, chatting about TB12 and his role en route Super Bowl glory.

Tom Brady told the guys, ‘If you win this game, you’ll be remembered for the rest of your life, you’ll be honored for the rest of your life.

“The honor that comes with winning the Super Bowl, you guys have no clue. So play your best and win this thing because the rewards are unbelievable’,” Arians said on the show.

The Buccaneers completely dominated the Chiefs, in all departments. But the NFC South franchise will need a successful outing in 2021 to prove to fans that this was not just a ‘fluke’
