Brock Lesnar recently poured his heart out on Pat McAfee’s podcast. It was an inspiring and humbling conversation with the man behind the ‘big bad wrestler’ persona. It was refreshing that one of the most successful wrestlers across fighting forms is still humble and grounded.
He comes across as a respectful and humble individual who recognizes that hard work and willpower get things done. McAfee paints a hypothetical picture, half-jokingly. He says that if a day were to come when all the earth had to send one person to fight in intergalactic battles, everyone on earth would say, “Send Brock Lesnar.”

Brock Lesnar’s reply was both humble and inspiring
Lesnar replied, “There’s a lot of bad men out there, let me tell you. I’ve been in the UFC and I’m a humble person, you know, Donald, this guy’s a freak too! You guys spent time talking about him…. and that guy’s a freak! Let me tell you, there are one-percenters of one-percenters. And you know, I’d humbly say… (that he’s one of them along with Aaron Donald) and I appreciate that, but I’ve never looked at myself in that manner.”
Brock Lesnar thinks Aaron Donald is just as ‘bad’
Aaron Donald is a beast of a football player. But it isn’t just his skill that makes him so lethal in the NFL. It is his physical prowess that makes Donald one of the most feared defensive tackles in football history. Number 99 wreaks havoc at the line of scrimmage, no matter who the opposition is.

Depending on your physical prowess and being appreciated for it in the NFL is a different level altogether. The league is full of players who possess almost impossible physical abilities and it is nothing if not the league of big men.
Thus, creating a name for being a ‘strong’ man in such an environment is like getting crowned as Miss Universe in the beauty pageant space.

Brock Lesnar is also in the same league as Donald. Both men have a fierce on-field/in-ring presence and both of them are humble beings who probably don’t even recognize just how different they are from the average.
And Lesnar too has made a name for himself for being “too-physical” in combat sports. Arguably, the most physically intensive sport in the world. That is no mean feat.

Thus, it is obvious that Lesnar would see Aaron Donald as an equal and praise him for the hard work and the dedication the recent Super Bowl Winner has showcased to be where he is.
