It’s official. The months-long saga of despair between Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen has finally resulted in the couple filing for divorce. After 13 years of marriage, the couple has decided to call quits on a relationship many believed would last forever. Especially after their initial, concerning struggles. And their divorce, it seems, has had a major impact on the NFL community.

Brady and Bündchen announced their divorce through their Instagram handles and asked for respect and privacy from their fans. But they are public figures, so it would be difficult to get away with such a piece of news without being analyzed by the NFL community. But this time, a lot many have been vocal about not scrutinizing their marriage.

One of the prime voices for this is Pat McAfee, who believes it is not anyone’s business to talk about their marriage. A lot of other noted members of the community are sad to hear about the divorce. But some feel that the entire issue has been blown out of proportion, choosing to remain aloof.

Will the divorce of Tom Brady affect the Buccaneers?

Brady‘s season so far has not been spectacular. His numbers this season are a mere shadow of what he achieved last season. The dismal state of his performance raised speculations on whether his marriage struggles with Bündchen seeped into his performance on the gridiron.

With the divorce finalized in the works, things could take a drastic change, for better or for worse. Brady could either slip into a state of depressive sadness and put out even worse performances.

Per ‘People’, a source close to Brady revealed he is “hurt” at how things are developing, so this possibility is very much on the table. Alternatively, he could unleash a beast unknown to all, now that he is finally free of the restraints of marriage.
