So in the end, as the old saying goes, all’s well that ends well. But according to a recent snippet, Tom Brady seems to carry a chip on his shoulder.

HBO recently posted a promo of the upcoming episode of their show The Shop: Uninterrupted. The show is a collaboration between NBA star LeBron James, and James’ business partner Maverick Carter.

Going by the promo, the latest episode will feature the likes of rapper Kid Cudi, comedian Chelsea Handler, NBA champion Draymond Green, and the evergreen Tom Brady himself.

The promo gives a brief view of what to expect and Brady surely doesn’t seem to be holding back. Talking about his experience with free agency back in 2020, Brady said the following about an unnamed NFL franchise.

“One of the teams, they weren’t interested at the very end. I was thinking, you’re sticking with that motherf–ker?”

The NFL franchise Brady refers to in the clip is unclear. But one could take a guess as to which team he was referring to. Apart from the Buccaneers, the San Francisco 49ers were a side in hot pursuit of Brady.

But in the end, the side decided to stick with Jimmy Garoppolo. The same Jimmy G who failed to dislodge Brady from his thrown at New England, and the same guy who is now soon going to be looking for a new job with the franchise drafting rookie QB Trey Lance.
