QB Russell Wilson had a stormy first-season debut with the Denver Broncos last season. After signing a $245 million five-year contract with the Broncos from the Seattle Seahawks, Wilson did not show his potential and worthiness to the fans of the Broncos. This drew criticism and backlash, as they felt that the investment in Russell Wilson might be all but in vain for the team. Fans are of the opinion that the quarterback needs to prove his worth in the upcoming 2023 season, and if he can’t, then he should return the money to the Broncos.

In the midst of the negative limelight shining upon Wilson, he took to social media to share a few words of wisdom from the boxing legend, Muhammad Ali, seemingly directing it toward his upset fans.
