NFL authorities showed that they are not going to tolerate any complacency with regard to the league’s COVID-19 protocols. League officials handed out massive $100K fines to San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan and Denver Broncos’ Vic Fangio on Monday night.

Additionally, both teams were also instructed to pay $250K for violating the league’s Coronavirus protocols. Another coach who was hit with a similar sanction was Seattle Seahawks head coach, Pete Carroll

“I even changed masks at halftime to find one that worked better. Sometimes you’ve got to get coached up. Sometimes you have to admit that you screwed up and have got to do better.

“We wear masks all day at practice, we wear them around the building. I know it’s extremely important to wear masks. Sometimes you’ve just got to be reminded. Sometimes you’ve got to get coached up,” Carroll told the team’s official website.
