One would argue that signing a wide receiver in his 30s isn’t the safest of bets. But Julio Jones might be one of the rare exceptions.

While the wide receiver’s hamstring issues saw him miss out on a considerable amount of playtime last season, the league is well aware of what the wideout is capable of when fully fit.

The signing is a clear signal of intent from the Titans. In their winning window with their key players hitting their prime, the side knows it’s time they capitalize before it’s too late.

In Jones, the Titans have a wide receiver who knows the ins and outs of the league. And if their aerial output can now put up the sort of performances their running game does, there’s no limit to what the franchise can end up achieving.
