While he went close with the Falcons in 2017, could the Tennessee Titans finally be where he finally achieves his goal? And in turn, also help the franchise claim their first Super Bowl win?

Titans no longer outsiders with Julio Jones signing

The Tennessee Titans aren’t pushovers by any means. The side is equipped with some great players all over the field. Playoff regulars over the last few seasons, the side is even capable of pulling off the odd upset in the postseason.

But the Julio Jones signing elevates their status from being dark horses to that of genuine Super Bowl contenders.

One would argue that signing a wide receiver in his 30s isn’t the safest of bets. But Julio Jones might be one of the rare exceptions.

While the wide receiver’s hamstring issues saw him miss out on a considerable amount of playtime last season, the league is well aware of what the wideout is capable of when fully fit.

Even apart from Jones, the side is blessed with some premier offensive talent. Derrick Henry is undoubtedly the best running back in the league, while AJ Brown is one of the most promising wide receivers to emerge last season.

Besides that Jones can rbe est assured of receiving quality supply from quarterback Ryan Tannehill who has turned his career around since arriving from Miami.

The signing is a clear signal of intent from the Titans. In their winning window with their key players hitting their prime, the side knows it’s time they capitalize before it’s too late.

In Jones, the Titans have a wide receiver who knows the ins and outs of the league. And if their aerial output can now put up the sort of performances their running game does, there’s no limit to what the franchise can end up achieving.
