Tom Brady seems to be living it up post his retirement early in February this year. Though that talk of him coming back again has been making the rounds ever since the revered quarterback seems to be enjoying his solo tanning sessions on his yacht or breaking a leg at Drake’s concert in Miami.

Brady had spent twenty years of his career playing for a single team, only to switch it up for his final three seasons. However, there is only one team that might push the retired legend to make a comeback.

On the latest episode of “I AM ATHLETE” Brandon Marshall, Brandon Flowers, and Ashley Nicole Moss join in to discuss the only team that according to them can spark the return of the legend. Marshall opines that there is not much sense in Brady’s return since he is the GOAT, and all the other players who have played up till the age of 40 still were “chasing” Brady. You are the goat there is nothing else for you to do, he will come back but it is only one team he will come back for,” he continues, before revealing the team as the 49ers. According to him, if Brock Purdy goes down and there is no substantial backup, it is sure to propel Brady to come back. However, the rest of the panel was quick to shrug the suggestion off.

“The man is not coming back to play football,” Moss points out,he’s chilling, he doesn’t care anymore.” Chilling or not, Brady sure seems to have made it clear, on multiple occasions, that there is not the slightest chance of him ‘un-retiring’ anytime soon. He has in the meantime shifted gears, and moved into more entrepreneurial endeavors.

Brady’s entrepreneurial adventure with the Raiders

Since retiring in February, the 49-year-old NFL legend has been keeping busy. About five months ago, he reportedly made a substantial investment by acquiring a six percent ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders through an arrangement with team owner Mark Davis. While no official agreement has been confirmed, there appear to be inherent issues with this move.

Team owners are concerned that if Brady secures discounted shares, it could potentially impact the overall value of their organization. Additionally, Brady is slated to become a broadcaster for FOX in the upcoming season, a move that might not align with the interests of other teams. There’s a worry that Brady, as an official owner, could share broadcasting information with the team, potentially creating conflicts of interest. Finally, the NFL itself has provisions against former players acquiring a stake in current teams, as has been noticed in the case of A-rod and the hottest 2023 NFL Draft pick, Caleb Williams.
