By 8 months ago

Nick Kyrgios was in the headlines for his car, Dodge Challenger SRT Demon crash, yesterday. His $300,000 car crashed into a pole leaving one side of the car damaged. Nick Kyrgios’ Dodge Demon is one of only four in Australia.

Police were also seen speaking to the 24-years-old on the crash site as the Australian tennis star looked deeply shocked. According to the reports from the Daily Telegraph, the police claimed that Nick Kyrgios was not driving the car at the time of the accident but could not confirm if he was the passenger in the vehicle. It is also unclear how much damage Kyrgios’ Dodge Challenger SRT Demon sustained.

A spokeswoman for the Australian Federal Police ACT revealed contravention notices for negligent driving were issued by the police officers with five of Kyrgios’ entourage solicited a photographer at the site to delete the pictures that he had taken.

Jeez some people are rude from tennis

Nick Kyrgios, who has been sidelined from the ATP Tour due to a collar bone injury that he sustained at the Laver Cup 2019, has not been injured. Furthermore, no other casualty was reported during the crash.

It seems like nothing is going in Kyrgios’ way on and off the court. Earlier, Kyrgios was handed a suspension for 16-week and £20,300 fine by the ATP following his controversial behavior at the 2019 Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati.

However, the 16-week ban will be only implemented if Nick Kyrgios receives any further code violations that result in a fine for any kind of verbal and physical abuse of officials or fans on the court. Nick Kyrgios will have to stay away from any other unsportsmanlike conduct and expletive with any other tennis officials over the next six months in order to avoid the contingent ban.
