Nintendo: Deadly Premonition Sequel On Switch Soon?

The sequel to the cult classic Deadly Premonition, directed by Hidetaka “Swery” Suehiro, will launch this summer, and there’s a new trailer for the sequel as well. Deadly Premonition was an open-world survival horror game influenced by Twin Peaks and released in 2010. Ten years later, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is coming to Nintendo Switch this summer.

Deadly Premonition 2 On Nintendo Switch- Trailer And Launch Date

Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise is both a prequel and sequel to the original game. Developer Toybox and Rising Star Games will release the long-awaited game on July 10. Nintendo uploaded the trailer for the upcoming game on its YouTube channel. Thus, players will get to track down a vicious serial killer and once again resolve a murder mystery as FBI special agent Francis York Morgan.

Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise will arrive exclusively for Nintendo Switch on July 10. After it’s release, the game will be available for $50 on the Nintendo Switch eShop and at retail.

What We Know About The Game So Far

Although much was not revealed about Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing In Disguise in its trailer, here’s what is known so far about the sequel to one of the most beloved vintage games.

A Blessing In Disguise is set in present-day Boston. Players will go back in time in the storyline to Le Carré and uncover the mysteries buried within the town. Serving as both a sequel and prequel to the original Deadly Premonition, players will follow FBI agents Davis and Jones in their search for a vicious serial killer responsible for the Le Carré serial murders. Via memories of a former FBI agent, players will go back in time to Le Carré, Lousiana, and step into the role of Special Agent Francis York Morgan to resolve the mystery.

Moreover, the game will be an open-ended adventure. Players can travel around the town of Le Carré on foot or skateboard. A player can customize his character and upgrade their skateboard further to improve speed and land more complicated tricks. Apart from that, many mini-games such as Bowling, Bayou Ride, Skateboard Challenge, etc. will also be available.
