Novak Djokovic Surpasses Rafael Nadal in an Incredible Record at Italian Open 2020

Serbian star Novak Djokovic has reached another final at the Italian Open! It took some work since Casper Ruud challenged him in the semi-finals. However, Djokovic played some solid tennis and won 7-5, 6-3. It was a great victory which got him another record – the most Masters 1000 finals.
The Serb has now reached an astonishing 52 finals and has left his rivals Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer at 51 and 50, respectively. This is an incredible achievement and one that Djokovic is surely proud of.

Even though Djokovic already holds several records, he still has the thirst to achieve more. He now has the chance to reach another milestone should he win the Italian Open Final and get the coveted label of the most Masters 1000 titles won.
After winning the 2020 Cincinnati Open, the Serb equaled Rafa’s record of 35 Masters titles. He now has the opportunity to go past him, but this won’t be easy.
