Novak Djokovic’s Australian Open Announcement Leaves Some Tennis Fans Angry

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic has been one of the most dominant sporting personalities in recent times. However, the Serb had kept fans hanging over his participation at the Australian Open 2022. 

Finally, the day has arrived and Djokovic has confirmed he would be present in Melbourne for the first Grand Slam event of the season. He released a statement that read, “Happy New Year, everybody! Wishing you all health, love, and happiness in every present moment, and may you feel love & respect towards all beings on this wonderful planet. I’ve spent fantastic quality time with my loved ones over the break, and today I’m heading Down Under with exemption permission. Let’s go 2022 !!”

The Australian Open 2022 begins on the 17th of January and will end on the 30th of January. Djokovic’s presence will be well received by the tennis fraternity.
