Fixture: Oklahoma City Thunder vs Los Angeles Clippers
Date & Time: Sunday, December 22, 2019, 7:00 PM ET (Monday, 12:00 AM GMT)
Location: Chesapeake Energy Arena, Oklahoma
After having lost against Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers came out strongly against San Antonio Spurs on Saturday to register a 25-point victory. They will now travel to Oklahoma for a game on the very next day. In such scenarios, the Clippers will also have to consider the load management of Kawhi Leonard. He played only 27 minutes in the previous game, which might be a hint that he could play Sunday’s game. In fact, none of the Clippers players played over than 30 minutes in the match with Doc Rivers using his bench effectively. The 134-109 victory was led by Paul George who finished with a near double double figures of 34 points, three assists and nine rebounds in his 26 minutes.
Oklahoma will be relatively fresh for the game on Sunday with it being their fourth consecutive home game with enough time between games. In this run of home games, Oklahoma managed to win against Chicago Bulls, Memphis Grizzlies and Phoenix Suns so far. But their upcoming game, against the team second in the Western Conference, is expected to be much tougher.
Oklahoma City Thunder-
Injuries: Hamidou Diallo (Elbow)- Out, Andre Roberson (Knee)- Out
Expected starting line-up: Chris Paul, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Terrance Ferguson, Danilo Gallinari, Terrance Ferguson, Steven Adams
Los Angeles Clippers-
Injuries: Kawhi Leonard (Load management)- Probable, JaMychal Green (Back)- Out
Expected starting line-up: Patrick Beverley, Paul Geroge, Kawhi Leonard, Maurice harkless, Ivan Zubac
The Clippers could have another high scoring game and Oklahoma will have to deal with it. Oklahoma City might have won their last three games, but they might find it difficult to go past them on Sunday.
