Paul George with the First & the Last Say as Clippers Beat Thunder by Two Points

The prospect of watching Paul George and Kawhi Leonard had to wait a little longer, but Los Angeles Clippers manage to beat Oklahoma City Thunder in a thriller of a contest.

It all came down to a well executed Paul George three pointer immediately after a time out called by Doc Rivers, with seconds left on the clock. The game still had some drama when a foul was called against the Clippers, which was overturned after a challenge and they managed to hold on to it.

It also started with Paul George recording six points after just three minutes into the game. With his last two games resulting in 70 points in around 45 minutes of game time, the kind of start for the guard, there was a strong possibility for another 30+ point game. But by the end of first half, he managed to add just two more points, although he had four more rebounds and an assist to show for.

At the end of the first half, Chris Paul put in a three, taking the score to 47-42 in favour of Oklahoma City.

The third quarter finished with Clippers having a two point lead, owing to some urgency shown by them and nine turnovers by Oklahoma City.

The game had an intense finish to it with very little separating the teams until the last play of the game.

Montrezl Harell scored 28 points & recorded 12 rebounds for the Clippers, while PG-13 finished with 18 points, 4 assists and 7 rebounds.

In the other results on Monday, Luka Doncic registered his sixth triple double of the year to take Dallas Mavericks past San Antonio Spurs. The game finished with a scoreline of 117-112 with Doncic registering his career high 42 points along with 12 assists and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, James Harden continued his scoring spree with another game with over 30 points and Russell Westbrook registered another triple double as Houston Rockets beat Portland Trail Blazers 132-108.

In the earlier tip-offs, a Brooklyn side without Kyrie Irving struggled against Indian Pacers. New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors registered home victories while Milwaukee Bucks won down the road against Chicago Bulls.
