Latest reports suggest that Paulo Dybala is set to leave Juventus after the new manager Maurizio Sarri was all clear for a Romelu Lukaku swap.

The statement as reported by journalist Alfredo Pedullà to Sportitalia read: “Dybala will arrive in Turin in the next few days, Juve will tell it its intention not to bet. United’s pressing is always higher. Sarri has dissolved the reserves for the exchange with Lukaku, will trigger the domino effect that will concern Dzeko, Higuain, Cavani and Icardi “.

Paulo Dybala has been an influential figure in the black and white stripes. But last season, the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo affected his playing time a little and now, after Juventus have brought in Maurizio Sarri to replace Max Allegri, it is believed that he might not fit in the trademark Sarri 4-3-3. This led to many clubs showing interest in the versatile Argentine forward.

Juventus president, on July 29, had told Sky Sport Italia that Juventus have recieved formal bids from different clubs. “There are some proposals, there is some interest, but we wait for concrete action so we can then decide calmly,” he was quoted saying about Dybala.

But the same sources also reported that Dybala was keen on staying and would return early from his vacation for a face-to-face talk with his new manager. Sarri, on meeting Dybala, reportedly told that he was not in the plans.

Inter, meanwhile, have already seen two formal offers for Lukaku rejected and do not appear to be in a position to match United’s valuation, with Ed Woodward keen to generate a profit on a player who was bought for £75million two years ago.

Lukaku was signed under Jose Mourinho two years ago and failed to impress with the Red Devils. After the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Lukaku lost his place to the youth club graduate, Marcus Rashford. Juventus have Gonzalo Higuain, who failed to fire under Sarri last season and Mario Mandzukic as options for the No. 9 position. The swap move would be the most welcome for both the parties.
