Preview-

Philadelphia won its third continuous win last time out against the Denver Nuggets. This transformed into their seventh in the last eight games as they defeated Denver Tuesday night. The 76ers are currently at the 4th spot in the Eastern Conference.

They lingered by one point after the starting quarter and led by 13 in the second quarter. This quickly changed as their lead was cut to just five points at the half. The 76ers let a 14-4 run end at the beginning of the second half.

They trailed 64-59 but managed to outscore the Nuggets 24-12 the rest of the quarter. They led by 7 points after that and did not let Denver close the gap. Philadelphia shot 41.6 percent from the field, which included 12 of 36 from three-point range. They also won the rebounding contest 49-38. Joel Embiid managed to seal the win for them with 22 points, 10 rebounds and six assists in the win.

Boston Celtics were on the road as they traveled to face the Pacers. The Celtics are one spot above the 76ers in the Eastern Conference.  Boston has not lost this match at home and has a record of 10-0 against Philadelphia by averaging 114.2 ppg in those games. The Celtics allow 104 ppg at home.

The Celtics are classified 15th in the NBA in scoring offense with an aggregate of 110.6 points per game this season. They are 12th in rebounding 20th in assists. Although Gordon Hayward did not play the game against Indiana, he will hopefully be back against the 76ers. With Marcus Smart injured as well, it will be tough for the Celtics. Furthermore, they stand 13th in three-pointers per game as they average 12.4 triples per game.

Predictions-

It should be an equally balanced game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics. Although, Boston has the home-court advantage. The Celtics have a remarkable record at home. They have won every game they played at home. On the other hand, 76ers have struggled away from home. Even with no significant injuries, 76ers do not have the upper hand in Boston, mostly because of the home-court advantage.
