Meeting one’s idols is a frequent entry on bucket lists. Not everyone gets to turn this desire into reality unless they are lucky. One such lucky person is popular Call of Duty Warzone streamer, TimTheTatman. Tim might rule Twitch, but there are many celebrities much bigger than him. One of them is his idol, the MMA legend and UFC star, Conor McGregor.

Tim is an ardent UFC fan and has often taken to Twitter to express his opinions on matchups during fight nights. One of his favorite fighters is the Irish great and former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion. Tim had the opportunity to watch one of his fights live, following which he was lucky enough to meet Conor.

Tim was waiting for his wife and met Conor McGregor instead

After the conclusion of a fight night, Tim was waiting for his wife, Alexis, at the exit. Fortunately, Conor McGregor was also exiting alongside his wife, and while waiting for her, he came across the Irish fighter.

TimTheTatman is a massive internet personality who talks live in front of hundreds of thousands of people. However, the streamer still messed up his words and was tongue-tied upon seeing his idol. Tim describes that he greeted Conor like a person who had just learned how to talk.

I was so nervous bro the only thing, and obviously all the security’s around him, and the only thing that comes out of my mouth to Conor is like I’m an ogre living in my lair I go – “name’s Tim, big fan,” like I just learned how to talk.”

After his immature greeting, Tim hadn’t even expected a reply from Conor. However, the Irish fighter gave him on using his classic Irish accent. “F***ing right!” Conor said as the fighter looked at Tim and then walked away.

Regardless of the nature of this encounter, Tim is still one of the lucky ones to even interact with the legend. While others only dream of meeting Conor McGregor, they will have to find solace in Tim’s account and have a laugh at the expanse of the Twitch streamer’s embarrassment.
