“Athletes are the heart of our Games’ planning and will be the heart of our Games. They’re our greatest stakeholders. So we want the voice of the athlete and we want the opinion of the athlete and we want the expertise of the athlete to be front and center within our organization,” Janet Evans, CAO of LA 2028 Games said.

By 2028, Allyson Felix will have surely retired and moved on in her life. But before thinking about 2028, her agenda will be to win more medals at Tokyo Olympics and become the most decorated track & field athlete in history. Her influence will surely be immense in the commission.
