Among Us is perhaps one of the most iconic games that rose to popularity last year. The 2018 title has almost become synonymous with the lockdown period. Last year, almost the entirety of humanity was locked up in their homes with nothing but video games to keep them company. Among Us, through its gameplay, emulated the experience of enjoying a party game with friends, especially due to the premise of the game.

Following its massive popularity, players all over wanted more from the title. While devs stopped working on a sequel to Among Us to focus on the current title, the community took matters into its own hands and came up with various mods to spice up the gameplay.

We have seen a lot of Among Us mods over the past few months, most of which work in favor of the impostor by overpowering them and making life difficult for the crewmates. However, this latest Assassin mod actually makes the gameplay more interesting and a lot more difficult for the imposter.

The Among Us Assassin mod gives you a really small window

The popular YouTube content creator and streamer Sockfor1 recently streamed a couple of rounds with this mod. Unfortunately, he could not pull off a successful impostor run throughout his entire stream. Let us explain to you how the Assassin mod works.

At the beginning of the match, the Assassin impostor will receive a target. The impostor will then have 45 seconds to eliminate that particular crewmate. If the impostor fails to do so, it will be eliminated from the round instead.

With all the mods out there granting insane powers to the impostor, this is one that actually spices things up for everyone. So sharpen your hidden blades, it’s time to pull off an Ezio in Among Us!
