On Monday, the power couple announced the birth of their first child. UFC Hall of Famer Ronda Rousey is now officially a mother. ‘Rowdy’ shared a heartwarming photo of herself and her baby’s hand on Instagram, as well as a photo of her husband Travis Browne with La’akea.
In April, Rousey revealed her pregnancy on her YouTube account. She revealed that she was four months pregnant with Browne’s first child, whom she married in 2017. In June, the couple held a Pokemon-themed gender reveal and revealed a September 22nd due date.

Fans were left tongue twisted by the couple’s choice of name for their daughter. But they were also delighted for her. Although she revealed the good news to the media. Rousey did not show her daughter’s face, but only a glimpse of her tiny hand.

What’s next for the former UFC champion?
Since her 48-second TKO defeat to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in December 2017, Rousey (12-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) has not competed under the UFC brand. Rousey went on a run that helped her become one of the greatest stars in MMA history, and will always be a legend in the UFC.
Rousey stepped away from active competition after suffering heartbreaking losses to Nunes and Holly Holm to conclude her career. She ventured into acting and had a spectacular spell in professional wrestling with WWE. However, the superstar has remained out of action for a while now.

We can’t expect Ronda to make an appearance soon, now that she has a newborn of her own. Rousey has made a successful career for herself and accomplished a great deal. She is now enjoying a quiet and serene life, away from the commotion, spending time with her family.
