Los Angeles Clippers are only behind their local rivals, Lakers, in the Pacific division as well as in the Western Conference. They have won 21 out of their 30 games so far. They have lost two of their last three games which included an upset against Chicago Bulls. In their last game, the Clippers suffered a defeat in the hands of Houston Rockets. The duo of James Harden and Russell Westbrook managed to defeat their counterparts in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, with Westbrook registering an impressive 40-point and 10-rebound double-double.

Their Saturday’s opponents, San Antonio Spurs, have not had the best of seasons. With a win-los record of 11-16, Spurs are currently 10 in the Western Conference. After five consecutive, extremely close games, the Spurs managed win their last game against Brooklyn Nets with a double-digit margin. LaMarcus Aldridge had a good night for the Spurs on both ends of the court. He ended with a double double, registering 20 points and 10 points. Spurs’ highest scorer on the night was Patty Mills with 27 points coming off the bench. Spurs will still have to improve their game against a tougher opponents on Sunday.

 Predictions-

Clippers’ overall away record does not read well, but in they won four of their last five away games. In their home, the Spurs have won four of their last five games. However, this could be a much tougher competition for them, considering the quality in the Los Angeles side, and might find it difficult to go past them.
