The cracks in their friendship were first seen at SummerSlam. At the PPV, both women had to defend their titles against Asuka.

While Banks helped Bayley retain her title, the latter didn’t put in any special efforts to help Banks, which led to a heartbreaking defeat for ‘The Boss.’

The Blueprint was last seen two weeks ago when she was assaulted by a relentless Bayley. ‘The Golden Role Models’ faced Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax to reclaim their tag team titles. However, Baszler and Jax won the match, injuring Sasha Banks in the process.

After this loss, Bayley finally snapped and attacked Banks, targeting her injured knee. The following week, on the September 11 edition of SmackDown, Bayley spilled all the beans.

She revealed that she never cared about Banks and their friendship was a farce. Bayley then claimed she had used Banks for the past year.

What could be in store for Sasha Banks and Bayley?

There is definitely going to be an intense rivalry between Sasha Banks and Bayley. However, it won’t be happening anytime soon.

Bayley will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Nikki Cross at WWE Clash of Champions. Cross overcame Tamina, Lacey Evans, and her best friend Alexa Bliss to gain a shot at the title.

If anything has to happen in the Sasha- Bayley rivalry, it will only be after Clash of Champions. In fact, there is a very high possibility that the two will collide inside Hell in a Cell.
