Controversies and Shoaib Akhtar have a very old relation. Despite being away from the field the fiery fast bowler has a nag of getting into controversies.

This time he has sparked one by his explosive remarks on the current Pakistan captain Misbah ul Haq. He has gone on record to say that he has never seen a more cowardly, selfish captain than Misbah.

The statement comes as a backdrop of the Pakistan’s dismal show at their World Cup campaign so far which has caused heavy embarrassment for their country.
Shoaib also criticized Misbah for not coming up the order to bat. “Misbah did nothing to protect the team and is worried only about his runs. He is uninspiring for the team and has no game plan or any direction whatsoever”, he was quoted saying.
Misbah, 40, has been a successful Test captain since taking charge in 2010 and has also led the one-day squad since 2011.
