Shoaib Akhtar Recently Takes a Dig at Virender Sehwag

The legendary Pakistan pacer, Shoaib Akhtar has known for his outspoken nature who recently took a dig at former Indian opener, Virender Sehwag. In an old video, Sehwag had told Akhtar makes money by praising India. His comments came way back in 2016 when Akhtar used to do commentary in India before the political relationship between the two nations became worse.

However, Shoaib recently took a dig at Sehwag in a recent video in which he said that he has more money than the amount of hair Sehwag has on his head. He also said that he never stop criticizing India whenever they fail to do well on the field.

“I have more maal (money) than you have baal (hair) on your head. If you are not able to fathom that I have such high followers, then understand it. It has taken me 15 years to become Shoaib Akhtar. Yes, I have a huge fan following in India, but I criticized them when they did not play well in the first ODI against Australia,” he shared.

He further added, “I do not understand what is the problem people have when I am giving my opinion on matters related to cricket. I have played for Pakistan for 15 years, I am not famous for just doing the YouTube thing. I was the fastest bowler in the world.”

Meanwhile, he has very open about India and Indian players where he praised them after their win over Australia in the recently concluded three-match ODI series. India won the series 2-1 despite losing the first game. After the win, Akhtar had termed Virat Kohli “an exceptional leader” as well.

He further shared that he is not the only one from Pakistan who praises India. Former players like Ramiz Raja, Shahid Afridi have also praised India as they are one of the best in the world.
