Charles LeClerc was not a happy man after Sebastian Vettel performed the undercut to lead the Singapore Grand Prix 2019. Vettel blinked first and dived in the pits, with Charles LeCLerc coming in much later.
When the Monegasque driver finally dived in, he emerged behind the German, much to his surprise.
“To be completely honest with you, I don’t understand the undercut, what’s going on. We’ll discuss after the race”, he grumpily said on the radio.
Afterwards, he was told to put his head down and charge, and he confirmed that he will. However, as an addendum, he said that he just wanted to let Ferrari know about his feelings on the matter.
Ferrari wanted them to stay in a 1-2 position, but naturally, LeClerc preferred that he take the number 1 slot.
